Your name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account. You may also sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, which provides us with your name and email address.
Profile Information
For service providers: business name, bio, specialization, category, services offered with pricing, working hours, availability, languages spoken, social media links, business registration details, and accepted payment methods.
For service seekers: name, email, phone number, and region preferences.
Photos and Media
Profile pictures, avatar images, and portfolio photos that you upload to the app.
Location Data
Your approximate location (when you grant permission) to help you find service providers near you and to show your service area to potential clients.
Messages
Chat messages exchanged between service seekers and service providers within the app.
Reviews and Ratings
Reviews, ratings, and badge nominations you submit about other users after completing a job.
Usage Data
How you interact with the app, including profile views, search queries, features used, and pages visited.
Device Information
Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens (FCM tokens) for delivering notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create, maintain, and secure your account
- Display your profile to other users on the marketplace
- Connect service seekers with service providers
- Enable real-time messaging between users
- Process and manage service requests (jobs)
- Send push notifications about job updates, new messages, reviews, and important account activity
- Show relevant search results based on your location, preferences, and provider quality rankings
- Operate our trust and safety systems including badges, reviews, ratings, and the strike/suspension system
- Analyze app usage to improve our services and user experience
- Provide customer support

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Information Visible to Other Users
As a marketplace app, certain profile information is visible to other users:
- Service providers: business name, bio, services, portfolio photos, reviews, ratings, badges, and general location are visible to seekers browsing the marketplace.
- Service seekers: name and review history may be visible to providers they interact with.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate Helprr:
- Firebase Authentication (Google): To manage user accounts and sign-in
- Cloud Firestore (Google): To store app data securely
- Firebase Cloud Storage (Google): To store uploaded images
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): To deliver push notifications
- Firebase Cloud Functions (Google): To process background tasks
- Google Sign-In: For account authentication
- Apple Sign-In: For account authentication
These services process data on our behalf and are governed by their respective privacy policies.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform through Firebase. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS for all communications
- Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access based on user authentication
- Authentication-based access controls ensuring users can only access their own data
- Secure password hashing (handled by Firebase Authentication)
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.
Job records, reviews, and messages may be retained in anonymized form for platform integrity purposes.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data stored in our systems
- Update or correct your information through the app at any time
- Delete your account and request removal of your associated data
- Opt out of push notifications through your device settings or the app's notification preferences
- Withdraw consent for location access through your device settings

7. Children's Privacy

Helprr operates in the Middle East region, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using Helprr, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations.
9. Push Notifications
We send push notifications for:
- Job status updates (new requests, accepted jobs, completed work)
- New messages from other users
- New reviews on your profile
- Important account notifications
You can manage your notification preferences within the app under Settings > Notification Preferences, or disable push notifications entirely through your device settings.
10. Cookies and Tracking
The Helprr mobile app does not use cookies. We may use anonymous analytics data to understand how users interact with the app and to improve our services. We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking purposes.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
